The State's budget is in bad shape, and we're looking at cuts in ECEAP, Working Connections, and across all education and human services programs.
These cuts will include:
- $925,155 from ECEAP (139 children, or 1 month eliminated from services)
- Reduction of Working Connections subsidy eligibility to 175% of the federal poverty level as of October 1 ( a monthly income of less than $2,670 for a family of three). This will cut 2500 families from WCCC. Click here for more information, and for ways to give input on these changes.
- Possible further dramatic cuts to Working Connections, including eligibility only for TANF recipients
